Traveling off-the-beaten path doesn’t always have to mean visiting rustic, undiscovered byways.

In the case of Mexico City’s Santa Fe neighborhood, an area virtually unknown to leisure travelers, this community is one of Mexico’s most modern neighborhoods. It enjoys such a distinct sensibility that even residents of Mexico City jokingly differentiate between Santa Fe and “the real Mexico City.”

Anchored by a major international university, the Universidad Iberoamericana, the area is also home to a variety of multi-national businesses, international restaurants, the third-largest mall in Latin America, and some of the city’s most contemporary architecture, which stands in sharp relief to the rest of the city’s more historically focused landscapes.

Although unfamiliar to international leisure travelers, the area houses the city’s Expo Bancomer Convention Center as well as a laundry list of the world’s top hotel brands, and as such, is rapidly growing in popularity with business travelers.

Hilton Worldwide has recently announced it will be adding to Santa Fe’s landscape in March 2014 with the opening of the new build Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City.

The hotel will form part of Samara – one of the five largest mixed-use complexes in the country, featuring more than 3.8 million square feet of space combining corporate offices, a shopping center and the upscale Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City.

“This is an exciting development for us as we expand our portfolio in Mexico and across Latin America,” said Rob Palleschi, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.   “Hilton side effects of nexium over the counter Santa Fe Mexico City will feature stylish design and bring our signature hospitality to one of Mexico City’s major business districts.”

In a neighborhood known for its contemporary design, Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City will leave its mark with a contemporary exterior, designed by Diametro Arquitectos, that will mesh the contrasting elements of a crystal building with open, manicured gardens.

The interior, designed by award-winning HBA / Hirsch Bedner Associates in San Francisco, welcomes guests to a grand, double-high lobby constructed from rich materials that capitalize heavily upon natural light.

The property will feature 260 guest rooms, including executive floor rooms and suites, all outfitted with the Hilton Serenity Collection™ which includes plush bedding, high-definition flat screen television, alarm clock with MP3 player connection and wireless Internet access.

Guests staying in an executive room or suite will enjoy the added benefit of the hotel’s executive floor service and executive lounge, which will offer light snacks and beverages in a relaxed and scholarly ambiance similar to a library feel.

The rooftop level will house a rooftop pool, bar and fitness center, while acting as a flexible space perfectly designed for private events.  Hotel dining will include a signature restaurant, lobby lounge and coffee bar – all located in the lobby area.

The property will feature more than 8,000 square feet of flexible meeting space including a mezzanine level ballroom designed with warm textured wood and contemporary chandeliers.  A business center featuring cutting edge work spaces and seamlessly integrated technology will also be available for guests to work with efficiency and style.
