California’s North Coast starts where the Golden Gate Bridge ends and stretches some 500 miles to the Oregon border. The Northern California Coast is home to some of the tallest trees in the world, the California Redwoods, many of which have been protecting California’s natural landscape for thousands of years

California’s scenic North Coast region is home to four National Parks, and more than 20 state parks, beaches and recreation and wildlife areas. The same cool climate that supports the redwood forests, also provides support for countless farms and wineries, and the area has some of the finest winetasting in the world.

While some of the coastline, valtrex over the counter substitute which features rocky cliffs and hills, is inaccessible to motorists, a drive along Highway 101 will serve up a number of welcoming small towns. Here charming bed and breakfast inns or vacation rentals serve as a jumping off point for the area’s myriad adventure activities, such as hiking, kayaking, river rafting and fishing.
