“Shave and a haircut, two bits.”
We aren’t exactly how much a bit is, but we do know that this November a portion of those bits are being donated to support awareness of men’s health issues such as prostrate and testicular cancer prevention.
This month, QT Sydney, a popular design hotel in Sydney, Australia, has teamed with the “Mo Community,” a global movement that raises funds and awareness for men’s health issues.
During November each year, Movember encourages men to join the movement by growing a moustache for the 30-days of November. These “Mo Bros” start the month clean-shaven, then grow and groom their Mo (slang for moustache), asking friends and family to donate to their efforts. With their new moustaches, these Mo Bros bring much needed awareness to men’s health issues by prompting conversations wherever they go.
To help keep their new facial hair in check, the QT Sydney’s spaQ Barber Shop is offering a number of special packages.
The spa, which has been included on the list of Movember Rated Barbers, a curated global compra levitra online network of the best grooming destinations offers an old-school grooming experience. While sitting in an authentic barber’s chair, guests experience a shave with a straight-edged blade by an expert barber – complete with sandalwood shaving cream, hot towels infused with uplifting essential oils and face massage – all to craft the perfect base for a month of “mo” growing.
As an official Movember Rated Barber, spaQ Barber Shop is offering two special packages for the month. Gents can keep their budding whiskers in control with The Mo Trim – a moustache shaping for around $20 (USD)- or get styled to perfection with The Mo Trim and a Barber Shop hair cut for $65 (USD). Approximately $5 (USD) from each trim will be donated to Movember.
