The Wydown Hotel, a boutique property located in Napa County’s St. Helena will kick off the holiday season with an open house, with proceeds going to support the St. Helena Public Schools Foundation.
The public is welcome to attend the first-ever Wydown Winter Wonderland, on Wednesday, December 4 from 5-7 p.m. The event includes visits with Santa Claus, tastes from local wineries and restaurants, live music performed by the St. Helena High School Jazz Band, and the lighting of the 11-foot tree located in the Wydown lobby.
At the ceremony, guests can purchase of special ornaments, with proceeds going to support the schools foundation. Additionally, the Wydown will donate a portion of its proceeds for the month of December to the foundation.
“The Wydown staff is looking forward to hosting our friends in the St. Helena community for what will be a fun and delicious start to the holiday season. Partygoers at the Wydown Winter Wonderland are invited to explore the lobby and several guest rooms at the 12-room hotel, enjoying bites from La Condesa Napa Valley and Oak Avenue Catering; wines from Honig Winery and Materra – Cunat Family Vineyards; and spirits from Prager Winery & Port Works. There will also be s’mores and other kid-friendly food and drink available throughout the property.
Wydown Hotel, independently owned and operated by Mark Hoffmeister, is home to a professional and welcoming staff of St. Helena locals that are passionate and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel opened in July 2011 after an extensive renovation of the old Eagle & Rose Inn. The property’s twelve guest rooms fall into three categories: Premium, Premium Atrium and Luxury Corner, and feature king beds, Keurig coffee makers, mini fridges and spa robes.
